What is MDF + Ash Veneer?

MDF + Ash Veneer panels are engineered composite panels combining an MDF core with a real white ash veneer face. The MDF core ensures flatness, screw-holding and uniform thickness; the ash veneer adds a genuine wood surface with natural grain character. Suitable for furniture manufacturing, interior wall panels, cabinet doors and store fixtures.

MDF Core Stability

High-density MDF (720–780 kg/m³) provides flat, warp-resistant substrate with excellent machinability for CNC routing and edge profiling.

Real Ash Veneer

0.4–0.6mm white ash veneer, rotary or sliced cut. Sanded to 120-grit before dispatch. Accepts stain, lacquer and paint equally well.

Visual Consistency

Each panel visually consistent within batch. Color-matched sets available for large furniture projects requiring uniform appearance.

Veneer panels require careful packing to prevent surface damage during ocean freight handling.

Inter-layer paper — kraft paper between each panel to prevent veneer scratching
Corner protectors — 8-corner foam or cardboard on every pallet
Shrink wrap + band — watertight outer wrap, metal or plastic banding
Max pallet weight — 1000 kg for EU markets; 1500 kg for Middle East
Marking — product ID, thickness, quantity, buyer label (Giachetta专属标签 available)
ISPM15 — heat-treated pallets with IPPC mark for all export destinations
Loading photos — container loading supervision with photo report on request

Common Questions

FAQ

Can you match specific colors or grain patterns?

For orders above 100 m³ we can request batch-matched veneer from our supplier. For smaller orders we select from stock based on color uniformity within the batch. Photos of actual panels available before shipment.

What's the lead time for a 40ft container order?

Standard items: 15–21 days from order confirmation. Custom thickness or size: 25–35 days. Peak season (March–June) may add 5–7 days. We confirm exact lead time at quotation stage.

What glue type do you use?

Standard: E1 urea-formaldehyde. E0 melamine-urea available at +USD 5–8/m³. For kitchen use or underfloor heating, we recommend E0 or CARB2 grade. Tell us your target market and we'll recommend accordingly.

Can you do CNC profiling or edge banding?

Yes. We can cut-to-size, CNC profile, drill and edge-band before dispatch. From drawings (PDF/DXF/DWG). Edge banding: ABS, PVC or wood veneer edge in matching or contrasting color.

What happened with the 4.8mm quality issue?

The 4.8mm batch (January 2026) had insufficient sanding and core delamination under spray-paint heat. We identified root cause as insufficient hot-press pressure for thin gauge. New production protocol for 4.8mm: increased pressure, additional sanding pass, and mandatory spray-test check before dispatch. New batch available from April 2026.
