For solid wood and ash component projects, length distribution and packing rules are confirmed according to the individual order specification. This note describes the method; it is not a claim that a specific dated result exists.
What we check
- Length distribution — how component lengths are distributed across a packing unit.
- Width distribution — grouping of pieces by width where the order splits widths.
- One specification per pack — keeping pieces of like size and grade together wherever the order defines it.
- Packing consistency — quantity and layup consistent across units.
- Label review — pack content matches the label and the packing list.
- Negative tolerance prevention — confirming that cut lengths stay within the agreed allowance (no shortfall where "no negative tolerance" applies).
Why it matters
Length and width distribution affect downstream cutting yield, cost and on-site sorting. A clear per-pack specification agreed at order stage reduces mixed sizes and makes unpacking predictable for the buyer.

How requirements are confirmed
