This project covered the production of decorative veneer panels - MDF with Ash and Birch veneers. Veneer selection, jointing, lamination, bonding inspection and surface quality were controlled according to the confirmed specifications.

Decorative Veneer Panel Process
- Substrate Confirmation — MDF density, thickness and formaldehyde class confirmed per destination and application.
- Veneer Selection — Species, grade, thickness and cut (crown/quarter) selected for decorative appearance.
- Veneer Jointing — Sheets joined with attention to grain alignment, colour matching and joint tightness.
- Surface Lamination — Single or two-side balanced lamination applied with controlled glue, pressing and time.
- Bonding & Flatness — Bonding quality, glue penetration and panel flatness checked after pressing.
- Final Surface Inspection — Joint lines, glue bleed-through, sanding quality and visual defects checked.
- Packing Protection — Protective interleaf and corner reinforcement. Pallets wrapped for moisture protection.
Key Quality Points
Veneer quality, jointing, bonding and surface handling are critical control points. Veneer species, cut, thickness and surface quality must be confirmed through samples or specifications before production.
