Product Overview

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is an engineered wood product manufactured from multiple wood veneers bonded together with the grain primarily oriented along the length of the product.

The parallel veneer construction allows LVL to be manufactured in consistent sections and long lengths for industrial and component applications.

Pilot Dewei Wood supplies LVL according to customer specifications, including different veneer constructions, dimensions, machining requirements and packing arrangements.

Lightweight and economical LVL suitable for packaging, furniture components, door components and general industrial applications.

Pine LVL

Softwood LVL for applications where pine or other confirmed coniferous veneer construction is required.

Eucalyptus LVL

Higher-density LVL option for selected industrial and component applications.

How LVL Is Constructed

Unlike conventional plywood, where adjacent veneer layers are normally cross-laminated, LVL is manufactured with most or all veneers oriented primarily in the longitudinal direction.
